Job summary

CTS OFFSHORE AND MARINE (ASIA) PTE. LTD. seeks a Marine Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, allocate manpower, and coordinate with clients, workshops, fabrication teams, riding squads, and vendors to keep projects on track.

The role requires experience in the shipping industry, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office; a Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or related field is required, with a Specialist Diploma as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or related discipline.
• (A Specialist Diploma in Maritime Ops / Superintendency is a distinct advantage).
• Strong situational awareness, ability to operate under tight deadlines, and excellent negotiation/communication skills in English to handle multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operational activities for CTS (Singapore) and efficiently allocate manpower, tools, and technical resources to support ongoing projects.
• Serve as the primary, central point of contact connecting clients, the internal workshop, fabrication teams, riding squads, vendors, accounts, and top management.
• Monitor vessel schedules, port arrivals, and coastal timelines to plan and execute jobs with precise timing.
• Prepare, manage, and secure all necessary maritime safety clearances, port passes, and boarding permits required for riding squads and technical teams to go onboard vessels.
• Source, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and shipping agents for supply/service arrangements
