Job summary

TIANCHENG ELECTRICAL MARINE EQUIPMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a detail-oriented Engineer to design, code, and commission control systems for marine electrical equipment. You will integrate PLC/inverter drive logic with mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI software development for winches, cranes, propulsion, VFD/inverter tuning, and rigorous testing before shipboard installation. Travel for on-site commissioning is required.

Qualifications

Degree in electrical, electronics or computer engineering.
Experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
Familiarity with power electronics and variable speed drives.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning.

Responsibilities

Logic Programming: Develop and maintain PLC and HMI software for marine systems.
Drive Integration: Configure VFDs and inverter systems for performance.
System Testing: Conduct functional testing and simulation of control logic.
Commissioning: Support on-site commissioning and troubleshoot hardware-software interfaces.
Documentation: Maintain records of software versions and parameter settings.
