Job summary

Goltens Toei Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced electrical/instrumentation professional to support surveys, commissioning and retrofit projects on vessels. You will analyze loads, coordinate protection and integrate upgraded power systems, while troubleshooting shipboard automation and control systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with marine electrical systems, familiarity with safety/PTW practices, and the ability to work across disciplines in a dynamic shipyard environment.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in marine or offshore EIA / E&I roles.
Hands-on experience with shipboard electrical and automation systems.

Responsibilities

Attend vessels for surveys, inspections, installation support, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical, automation and instrumentation systems.
Support marine electrical retrofit projects, including load analysis, protection coordination and system integration.
Perform troubleshooting of shipboard control, monitoring and alarm systems (PLC-based).
Collaborate with mechanical, piping and shipyard teams for retrofit projects.
Support EHS and risk assessments, PTW systems and safety compliance.
