The Winch Design Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This position is responsible for designing marine winch systems, including conceptual design, detailed engineering, and preparation of technical drawings and specifications in line with international standards and company procedures. The specialist collaborates closely with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, safe, and optimized for performance, reliability, and cost. Daily tasks include conducting technical calculations, selecting components, reviewing customer and project requirements, preparing documentation for certification and quality assurance, and supporting system testing and commissioning. The role also involves providing technical support during manufacturing, troubleshooting design-related issues, and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in winch and deck equipment solutions.
