Job summary

Molex Singapore seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize processes, improve productivity, yield, and overall operational excellence. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and support transfer of new products into production with a strong focus on quality and safety.

You will work within the Manufacturing Engineering team with Operations, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, EHS, Product Engineering, and global partners to achieve sustained manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in assembly process development, process optimization, or manufacturing troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SOP/WI, SPC, MSA, DOE, and statistical analysis.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Experience working with MES, SAP, or production reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Engineers and Specialists, developing talent and providing career growth paths.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in yield, uptime, and line performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma and related methods.
• Develop and maintain process control documentation (WI/SOP, PFMEAs, control plans).
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance to ensure safety and compliance.
