Job summary

AVIATION LABOUR GROUP PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for an aerospace client in the East of Singapore on a contract basis.

You will support manufacturing operations, drive process improvements, tool selection, and production support for aerospace programmes. Responsibilities include establishing procedures, creating JIS and NC programs with Siemens NX, leading productivity projects, and collaborating with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Experience with Siemens NX or other CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC machining and GD&T.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish manufacturing procedures and maintain documentation control.
• Create JIS, NC programs, and Tool/Gauge plans with Siemens NX.
• Drive productivity improvements: equipment/fixture design and deployment.
• Resolve technical issues from internal and external customers.
• Conduct feasibility studies for capacity, layout, and expansion.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in processes.
• Support CAPEX justification.

ALG is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our renowned aerospace clients based in the East of Singapore. This is a contract opportunity to support manufacturing engineering operations, including process improvement, tooling, and production support for aerospace programmes.

Job Summary

Provide technical support for manufacturing operations by developing and improving manufacturing processes, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.
• Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets(JIS), NC program, and Tool/Gauge plan with Siemens NX.
• Initiate productivity improvement activitiesincluding equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.
• Resolve technical issues relating to internaland external customers' feedback.
• Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.
• Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.
• Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.
• Put up justification for capital expenditure(CAPEX).
