Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with global teams and drive NPI/Transfer initiatives. You will implement advanced manufacturing methods, ensure quality, and support assembly and testing on the production floor.

The role requires a degree in ME/EEE and at least 1 year in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong Excel/Power BI skills and familiarity with AutoCAD/Inventor for tooling and fixture development. Cleanroom experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in semiconductor/electronics/engineering industries, with preference for cleanroom experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; VBA, Power Apps, Power BI; design tools such as AutoCAD/SketchUp Pro/Inventor for tooling and fixture development.
• Familiarity with programming languages including Python, VBA, LabVIEW, and C++ for test scripts and automation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production of high-quality products by managing materials, equipment, and processes.
• Partner with US engineering to lead NPI and Product Transfer initiatives.
• Oversee timely release of critical documentation and reports for production readiness.
• Provide hands-on technical support during assembly and final testing on the production floor.
• Drive creation and deployment of work instructions in the MES.
• Analyze build processes, identify risks, and implement PFMEA-based improvements.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, BOMs and technical data sheets.

Requirements

• Added advantage for candidates with a background or knowledge in Industrial Engineering (IE) to optimize process efficiency and productivity.
• Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels globally and the flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones.
• Willingness to work in a Class 100 ISO 5 Cleanroom Environment.
