Job summary

FONG'S ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING PTE LTD is seeking an experienced engineer to program Swiss‑type CNC lathes and optimize CAM workflows. You will set up machines, tune parameters, and perform first‑article inspections on high‑precision components.

You will participate in DFM reviews, advise on manufacturability, and help maintain BOMs and routings in BC/ERP while supporting NPI and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Min. 2 years hands‑on experience in Swiss‑typeCNCauto lathe programming & mass production processes
• Preferred: Strong proficiency in Esprit & Camworks for multi‑axis programming & post‑processing
• 1+ year experience in CAM or 5‑axis milling is highly preferred
• Practical experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturing); familiar with FMEA, Control Plan & SPC is a strong plus
• Experience in creating BOM & manufacturing Routing via BC (Business Center) / ERP system is preferred
• Solid knowledge of turn‑mill operations, tooling selection, parameter tuning & troubleshooting for Swiss‑type machines
• Able to read technical drawings & GD&T
• Willing to work on shop‑floor, support setup & shift work as needed
