Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd in Woodlands, Singapore is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician to build, repair and test electro‑mechanical assemblies. You will use schematics, wiring diagrams and test fixtures, and enter progress data.

The role requires a minimum of NITEC in engineering, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Shift work with a daily allowance applies; transport is provided and a bonus may be offered.

Qualifications

• Min education: NITEC in engineering related study.
• Similar experience in a manufacturing company preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using work orders, schematics and diagrams.
• Test assemblies with fixtures and equipment, and log progress and labor data.
• Receive parts, audit stock, inspect for defects and improve processes.
• Observe safety standards and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Project Location: (Woodlands)
Working Hours: 3/4/4/3- 9am to 8:15pm (shift allowance provided - $18/day, $38/night)

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.

• Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components. Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details.

• Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects, troubleshoots and improves processes.

• Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

• Min education requirement NITEC in engineering related study

• Similar experience in a manufacturing company is preferred

• Minimum 1 year ofworking experience in Manufacturing industry

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
