Job summary

PERSOL is hiring for an electro‑mechanical technician in Woodlands, Singapore. You will build, repair and test assemblies using schematics and test equipment, ensuring parts availability and process improvements. Shift work includes 9am to 8:15pm with a shift allowance and yearly completion bonus.

Candidate should have at least a NITEC in engineering, with 1 year in manufacturing and strong communication and negotiation abilities to support quality and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• NITEC in engineering required.
• Similar experience in a manufacturing company preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists.
• Test assemblies with fixtures, measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps; log progress and labor data.
• Receive parts, audit inventory and ensure availability; inspect for defects and troubleshoot to improve processes.
• Follow safety policies, maintain a clean working environment, report hazards or incidents promptly.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.
• Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components. Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details.
• Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects, troubleshoots and improves processes.
• Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements
