Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring for a manufacturing technician at Woodlands. The role involves building, repairing, and testing electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies using schematics and parts lists.

You will use test fixtures and measurement equipment, document progress and labour, and ensure parts availability for builds and tests. Requirements include a NITEC in engineering, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Min education requirement NITEC in engineering related study.
• Similar experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using work orders, diagrams and parts lists.
• Test assemblies using fixtures, measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps; enter progress and labor data.
• Receive parts, audit inventory, inspect for defects, troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Adhere to safety standards; maintain a clean, safe work environment; attend safety training and report incidents.

Working Hours: 3/4/4/3- 9am to 8:15pm (shift allowance provided)

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.

• Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components. Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details.

• Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects, troubleshoots and improves processes.

• Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

• Min education requirement NITEC in engineering related study

• Similar experience in a manufacturing company is preferred

• Minimum 1 year ofworking experience in Manufacturing industry
