Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring for an electro-mechanical assembler. You will build, repair and test assemblies using schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists, ensuring quality and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, data entry, and adherence to health and safety policies; shift allowances are provided for AM/PM and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant internship / academic background would be considered.
• Relevant experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair and test electrical/electro-mechanical assemblies per work orders and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Identify and correct errors in processes.

About the role

Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components. Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair

• Identify and correct errors

• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment

• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety and security policies, procedures and practices

• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept

• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components

• Enter data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details

• Perform computer programming, repair or software installs

• Detail finished work, receive parts and perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available

• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes

About you

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Work Arrangements

• AM Shift (7am to 4.30pm)

• PM Shift (4pm to 1.30am) - $25/shift allowance

• Graveyard Shift (11.30PM to 9AM) - $40/shift allowance

• 12 hour Day Shift (7am - 7pm)

• 12 hour Night Shift (7pm - 7am)

• Different work days
