Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a responsible technician to build, test and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies. The role involves rotating day and night shifts (12 hours) at the Woodlands site, with focus on safety, accuracy, and efficient fault resolution.

You will follow engineering schematics, enter progress data, and ensure a clean, safe work area. This position requires a NITEC/ Higher NITEC / ITC / Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; computer literacy is

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/ITC/Diploma in a related field.
• Computer literate and able to use relevant software.
• Minimum 1 year of related working experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using routine work orders and diagrams.
• Test assemblies using fixtures, measurement equipment, and log progress and labor data in the computer.
• Receive parts, perform audits, ensure availability of parts, inspect for defects and improve processes.
• Maintain safety standards, report hazards, follow safety policies, and keep a clean and safe work environment.

Working Hours: 12 Hours (Rotate Day & Night Shift) 8:00 - 8:15

Location: Woodlands

Job Responsibilities

• · Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.
• · Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components. Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details.
• · Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects, troubleshoots and improves processes.
• · Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.
