Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer to join the Enterprise Sales team, supporting Taiwan and Singapore. The role bridges technical and commercial aspects of our application security solutions, working with customers and the sales team to demonstrate value across SAST, SCA, and DAST portfolios.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in application security pre-sales, strong communication skills, and experience presenting to diverse audiences in English and Traditional Chinese.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application security sales engineering, solution architecture, or related pre-sales.
• Strong understanding of application security concepts, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with SAST, SCA, or DAST technologies.
• Technical background in software development or security engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking.
• Outstanding communication, able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience presenting at public events in English and Traditional Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account teams to develop and execute technical sales strategies for application security testing solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and proof of concept implementations for prospects and customers.
• Provide technical consultation on SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions, and design security solutions based on customer requirements.
• Create and deliver compelling technical presentations and documentation for technical and business stakeholders.
• Support security architecture discussions and integrate with customer DevSecOps workflows.
• Provide competitive differentiation and value proposition, and participate in industry events.
