Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. is hiring an Implementation Consultant (Application Security Engineer) to guide customers through deploying and adopting Black Duck security solutions.

You will design practical implementation approaches, integrate into DevOps, and drive secure development practices across client environments. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, translating goals into actionable plans, enabling adoption, and ensuring value from the platform across China and Asia

Qualifications

• Understanding of application security concepts and secure development practices.
• Hands-on software development experience in Java, C/C++, C#.
• Scripting ability with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, or similar automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and modern software delivery workflows.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Fluent English and Mandarin language skills are mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design customer-ready solutions aligned to goals and success criteria.
• Deliver end-to-end implementations, coordinating progress and risks.
• Integrate into SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps environments for secure development.
• Advise on secure development, vulnerability management, and testing workflows.
• Enable adoption and customer value by guiding usage and planning.
• Partner with account teams to identify opportunities for value.
