Job summary

Exentec Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Manager Procurement & Subcontracting to lead end-to-end procurement across construction materials and piping. You will drive strategic sourcing, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier partnerships to optimize cost, quality, and supply performance.

The role requires a strong track record of 10+ years in procurement leadership, experience with Letters of Credit and bank guarantees, and the ability to align procurement strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management or equivalent.
• 10+ years managerial procurement experience in construction materials and piping materials.
• Experience with Letters of Credit and bank guarantees preferred.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Procurement Department and end-to-end procurement activities.
• Maintain deep knowledge of category/market, suppliers, and strategies.
• Lead negotiation strategy and influence outcomes across the group.
• Serve as senior contact to strategic customers to maximize benefits.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with guidelines and policies.
• Manage sourcing process from quotes to final supplier selection.

Lead our Procurement function and drive strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver value to the business. You will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, manage supplier partnerships and contract negotiations, and ensure compliance with procurement policies while optimizing cost, quality, and supply performance. Job Responsibilities

• Overall responsible of Procurement Department.
• Maintains a detailed knowledge of a specific category and/market, including suppliers, market movements, supplier strategies and the ability to align and influence these to meet business requirements.
• Sound understanding and execution of negotiation strategy and ability to influence it within the group.
• Operates as a senior level contact to strategic customers, to maximise contractual benefit.
• To ensure all procurement activities are carried out within the stipulated guidelines
• Manage the overall sourcing process from quote preparation, review of technical and commercial matters, contractual negotiations with suppliers to final selection.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years experiences of Managerial in Procurement of Construction materials, piping related material
• Preferably experience in handling Letter of Credit and issuance of Bank Guarantees
