Job summary

MINDEF invites applications for a content production lead to oversee high-quality media campaigns for MINDEF and SAF. You will manage end-to-end post-production of media collaterals, guide technicians, and ensure compliance and technical precision.

What the role is:

You are responsible for leading and overseeing the production of high-quality content for media campaigns for the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

What you will be working on:

• Design and execute impactful media campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver cohesive and high-quality content
• Manage end-to-end post-production of media collaterals, ensuring technical precision and compliance, and guiding technicians to deliver polished output
• Innovate with new content formats and strategies to strengthen MINDEF/SAF's presence across mainstream and social media

Challenges

• Managing multiple production projects with overlapping timelines while ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Allocating and optimising limited resources to meet critical campaign requirements without compromising standards
• Translating military information into clear, engaging content that aligns with MINDEF/SAF's mission objectives
• Balancing creative direction with compliance and operational precision to safeguard MINDEF/SAF's interests

What we are looking for:

• Education in Communication Studies, Film, Sound and Video Visual - Communication, Animation, Mass Communication, Advertising, or a relevant media field is preferred
• Able to work independently and take initiative in managing responsibilities
• Resourceful, resilient under tight timelines, and committed to maintaining high standards for quality
• Good awareness of Singapore's political, defence and security developments as well as current affairs
• Strong proficiency in writing and content development, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging material
• Proficiency in a vernacular language will be advantageous (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
• Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
