Job summary

KINGFISHER RECRUITMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a hands‑on Supply Chain Manager to oversee end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory, purchasing, warehousing and logistics, with a focus on cost control and service level improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain/operations, preferably in food distribution or FMCG, and hands‑on leadership in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical skills and ERP/WMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or operations.
• Experience within food distribution, FMCG, food manufacturing, wholesale or a related industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day supply chain operations covering demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, warehousing, transportation and delivery.
• Develop demand forecasts and replenishment plans based on sales trends, customer requirements and inventory levels.
• Monitor stock availability, inventory turnover, product expiry and slow‑moving items.
• Coordinate purchase orders, inbound shipments and delivery schedules with local and overseas suppliers.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, warehouses, transport providers and other external partners.
• Oversee cold‑chain and temperature‑controlled logistics for frozen and chilled food products.
• Ensure timely product availability while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and controlling operational costs.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Finance, Quality Assurance and other internal teams to support customer requirements.
• Resolve daily operational issues, including shipment delays, stock shortages, warehouse discrepancies and delivery challenges.
• Review existing supply chain processes and implement practical improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and service levels.
• Track and report relevant supply chain and operational KPIs.
• Lead and support the supply chain team while remaining actively involved in daily operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or operations.
• Experience within food distribution, FMCG, food manufacturing, wholesale or a related industry is strongly preferred.
• Practical experience in demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, warehousing and distribution.
• Knowledge of import procedures, freight forwarding and cold‑chain logistics would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP, inventory management or warehouse management systems.
• Able to work effectively across different departments and with external service providers.
• Hands‑on, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
