Job summary

RHB Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional with at least 8 years of documentation experience in financial institutions. The role includes reviewing and validating financing documents, supporting post-approval processes, and acting as a facility agent in syndicated financing.

We value meticulous and organized individuals who can liaise effectively with various parties and contribute to process improvements. A diploma or degree in any discipline is required, along with proficiency in MS Office applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of documentation experience in a financial institution.
• Exposure to real estate project financing and/or agency services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financing documents and perform checks.
• Support post-approval documentation processes until full repayment.
• Act as facility agent, security agent, and/or account bank in financing.
• Liaise with internal and external parties including lawyers and valuers.
• Prepare letters and reports, update registers, and manage documents.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency while managing risks.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Review of draft / executed financing documents such as letters of offer / facility agreements & security / mortgage documents, validate draft financing and security documents against approvals, post acceptance documentation checks, preparation of instructions to lawyers / valuers / insurers and etc.
• Perform the daily BAU operations by supporting Business Unit’s post approval documentation processes till redemption / full repayment.
• Perform roles as the facility agent, security agent and/or account bank in syndicated financing. Activities including but not limited to active participation in negotiation of the legal documents, conditions precedent collation, conditions subsequent and covenant tracking, management of facility life cycle and information dissemination.
• Liaise with Business Units and external parties such lawyers / valuers / insurers.
• Perform checks to ensure legal and security documentation are completed, conditions precedent is fulfilled prior to activation of credit facilities, monitoring of conditions subsequent and ensure that the legal and security documents are being custodized.
• In charge of preparing letters / reports, updating of registers and custodians of documents.
• Manage day-to-day business transactions to ensure that the agreed turnaround time with the business is met
• Ensures accuracy, efficiency and meets the agreed turnaround time with the Business Units while minimizing operational risks and losses.
• Able to contribute to process improvements and participate in ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

• Candidate with minimum 8 years of documentation experience in a financial institution with prior exposure to real estate project financing and/or agency services preferred.
• Diploma/ Degree in any discipline.
• Proficient with MS office applications.
