Job summary

PaxOcean is seeking a Finance Leader to oversee a team of four finance professionals and manage the full accounting cycle for Singapore entities and the Saudi subsidiary. You will ensure timely month-end/year-end closings, perform journal review, and coordinate with external auditors to uphold Singapore FRS/IFRS standards.

Qualifications

• Min 6-8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS, GST and corporate tax.
• Experience in audit and tax compliance across multiple entities.
• Experience handling cross-border operations, preferably involving the Middle East.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Words.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Experience in SAP will be advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a team of 4 finance professionals, providing coaching, guidance and performance management.
• Manage full set of accounts and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing for Singapore entities and Saudi subsidiary
• Review journal entries and audit schedules, ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records in compliance with Singapore FRS/IFRS
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Lead audit process and act as the key liaison with external auditors for Singapore entities and the Saudi subsidiary
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST filings
• Review corporate tax computations of Singapore entities and liaise with external tax agent
• Support transfer pricing documentation and ensure proper handling of intercompany transactions
• Serve as a key finance business partner to the Saudi subsidiary by delivery financial insights and guidance to support business operations, while ensuring compliance with established SOPS, internal policies and control framework
• Prepare and present monthly forecasts and yearly budget for the Saudi subsidiary
• Prepare/Support tax computation and transfer pricing documentation for the Saudi subsidiary
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned including government surveys and preparing reports required by management
