Job summary

Alstern Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Facilities Manager (ACMV/Facilities Management) to lead maintenance across semiconductor, industrial, commercial and hospitality facilities. You will oversee system reliability and plan maintenance activities with the team.

The role requires a diploma or degree in FM or related field, 5+ years in FM, and strong knowledge of ACMV and M&E building systems. Proficiency in MS Office and project tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility maintenance operations across multiple facility types.
• Assist Director in expansion, planning and resource management.
• Plan manpower deployment and scheduling for service delivery.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance.
• Manage critical building systems including ACMV, cooling, water, heat pumps, boilers and clean rooms.
• Be the main technical contact for clients and ensure reliability.
• Lead technicians and subcontractors to deliver safe, timely, quality works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
• Prepare maintenance forecasts, proposals, quotations, reports and project docs.
• Ensure compliance with WSH, ISO, regulations and company policies.

Facilities Manager (ACMV / Facilities Management)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead facility maintenance operations across semiconductor, industrial, commercial, and hospitality facilities.

• Assist the Director in business expansion, operational planning, and resource management for the Facilities Management department.

• Plan manpower deployment, workforce scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery.

• Oversee preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules and SOPs.

• Manage and maintain critical building systems, including ACMV, Process Cooling, Water Systems, Heat Pump & Boilers, Clean Rooms, Process Exhaust & Vacuum, Compressed Air, Fire Protection, and Natural Gas/Diesel systems.

• Serve as the main technical contact for clients, ensuring timely support and system reliability.

• Lead technicians and subcontractors to deliver maintenance works safely, on time, and to quality standards.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to execute maintenance and project works.

• Prepare maintenance forecasts, technical proposals, quotations, reports, and project documentation.

• Ensure compliance with WSH, ISO, statutory regulations, and company policies.

• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge of ACMV and M&E building systems in industrial, commercial, or semiconductor environments.

• Experience in manpower planning, contractor management, maintenance scheduling, and project coordination.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

• Self-driven with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
