Job summary

EXCELTEC PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Engineer (ACMV) to support maintenance and performance of ACMV systems across a portfolio of managed facilities.

You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, supervise contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ACMV operations, facilities management or building maintenance.
• Good working knowledge of chiller plants, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs and ventilation systems.
• Experience in managing maintenance contractors and service providers.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) will be an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple sites and priorities.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation and maintenance of ACMV systems, including chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and associated control systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance works carried out by contractors and service providers.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and equipment lifespan.
• Support upgrading, retrofitting, replacement and testing & commissioning of ACMV equipment and systems.
• Review maintenance records, service reports and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders on ACMV-related matters.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns and provide technical support when required.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for maintenance and asset replacement planning.
