About The Role

We are seeking an experienced digital platform professional to support the delivery, operational readiness and ongoing reliability of our online trading platforms.

The role requires close collaboration with business, technology, operations, risk and external service providers to deliver a stable, secure and effective digital experience for customers.

This role is suitable for someone with strong hands-on experience in digital platforms who is comfortable working across both change delivery and production operations within a regulated financial-services environment.

Key Responsibilities
Digital platform management
  • Support the ongoing operation, stability and continuous improvement of digital trading platforms and related customer journeys.
  • Work with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, customer pain points and platform enhancement opportunities.
  • Translate operational and customer issues into clear requirements and improvement actions.
  • Support platform enhancements across the full lifecycle from requirements through implementation and post-launch monitoring.
User acceptance testing and quality assurance
  • Define UAT scope, scenarios and acceptance criteria for platform enhancements and releases.
  • Develop and execute test cases covering end-to-end customer journeys, business scenarios and exception conditions.
  • Identify, document and assess defects based on business risk and customer impact.
  • Work closely with technology teams and vendors to facilitate defect resolution, retesting and regression testing.
  • Assess release readiness and support UAT sign-off based on agreed acceptance criteria.
Production support and service management
  • Monitor and support the stability and performance of digital platforms.
  • Coordinate investigation and resolution of production incidents with technology, operations and external service providers.
  • Assess customer and business impact and ensure material issues are appropriately prioritised and escalated.
  • Identify recurring issues and work with relevant stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support deployment verification, post-release monitoring and hypercare activities.
Operational risk and controls
  • Maintain relevant operating procedures, control documentation and supporting records.
  • Support periodic reviews to ensure operating practices remain aligned with established procedures and controls.
  • Identify operational risks, control gaps and manual dependencies and work with stakeholders on appropriate remediation.
  • Support internal governance, risk, audit and regulatory requirements relating to digital platforms.
  • Participate in business continuity and disaster-recovery exercises to ensure operational readiness and resilience.
Stakeholder and vendor management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Business, Technology, Operations, Risk and other control functions.
  • Coordinate with technology and external service providers on incidents, enhancements, testing and platform improvements.
  • Provide clear and timely communication on delivery progress, production issues, risks, dependencies and required decisions.
  • Facilitate effective resolution of issues involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous improvement and knowledge management
  • Analyse production issues, customer feedback and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain appropriate platform knowledge, operating procedures and testing documentation.
  • Share functional and platform knowledge across the team and provide guidance to junior colleagues and testers.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve platform resilience, customer experience, operational efficiency and control effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in digital platforms, financial services, securities brokerage, wealth management, fintech or a comparable regulated environment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: digital product delivery, business analysis, UAT, production support, platform operations or technology-enabled transformation.
  • Good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including requirements, testing, release management and post-production support.
