Job summary

OCBC is seeking an enthusiastic Digital Markets Intern in Singapore to gain hands-on exposure to data analytics, e-commerce platforms, AI, and digital asset initiatives. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to support digital initiatives, optimize processes, and generate data-driven insights.

This role offers practical experience in dashboards, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in technology, digital innovation, and financial markets.
• Familiarity with Python and data analytics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor digital trading platforms and live trading engines; support daily operations and reporting.
• Develop and enhance automation solutions using Python and macros.
• Prepare, analyze, and validate datasets to generate business insights.
• Build dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Support data management, automation, and data quality initiatives.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• E-Commerce Support: monitor digital trading platforms and live trading engines, support daily operational processes, perform reporting activities, and assist in troubleshooting and system enhancements
• Process Automation: develop and enhance automation solutions using Python, macros, and other digital tools to improve operational efficiency and scalability
• Data Analytics: prepare, analyse, and validate datasets to generate business insights and support decision‑making across Digital Markets initiatives
• Dashboard & Reporting Development: build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisation tools using platforms such as Power BI and Tableau
• Data Management: support database automation, data structuring, and data quality initiatives to strengthen reporting and analytics capabilities
• Artificial Intelligence Initiatives: assist in identifying opportunities to leverage AI and analytics to streamline processes and improve business outcomes
• Digital Assets Research: conduct market research and analysis on developments within the digital assets ecosystem, emerging technologies, and industry trends
• Project Coordination: support project implementation activities, documentation, testing, and stakeholder communications for digital products and new platform initiatives
• Event & Engagement Support: assist in coordinating internal and external events, workshops, and activities related to digital assets and innovation initiatives
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on strategic initiatives and business transformation projects as assigned
