Job summary

NHG Health Group is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to lead day-to-day operations for DICC clinical departments and the Advance Care Planning Office. You will partner with clinical leaders, nursing, allied health and corporate teams to ensure governance, resource planning, performance monitoring and quality improvement.

You will drive service planning, implement new care models, manage budgets and support ACP initiatives with data-driven improvements.

• 6–8 years of related experience in operations or service roles.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

JOB PURPOSE

The Manager/Senior Manager provides operational leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operational requirements of selected clinical departments under the Department of Integrated Care and Community Partnerships (DICC), as well as the Advance Care Planning Office (ACPO). The role partners closely with clinical leaders, nursing, allied health and corporate departments to ensure effective service planning, governance, resource management, performance monitoring and quality improvement.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES`

Specific

Operational Leadership for DICC Clinical Departments

• Lead the strategic planning, development and day-to-day operational requirements for clinical departments under DICC:
• Partner key clinical leaders, nursing, allied health, and corporate departments to drive service planning, resource management, governance, performance monitoring, quality improvement and implementation of new care models
• Plan, implement and execute key result areas under respective clinical departments including but not limited to new services (or expansion) in outpatient, inpatient and other relevant settings
• Monitor operational and financial performance across DICC clinical departments and recommend improvement/corrective actions when required
• Lead and supervise team of clinical operations executives to develop and achieve operational and financial targets aligned with departmental and organisational priorities
• Lead and ensure successful events planning and execution, including stakeholder coordination, programme development, resource management, communications and operational logistics.
• Ensure preparation and timely submission of key items including but not limited to budgeting, workplan formulations, key update platforms e.g. CMB updates
• Provide operational oversight and leadership for the Advance Care Planning Office Drive continual review and refinement of workflows, processes and service models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness:
• Monitor service performance and ACP-related outcome indicators, and drive improvement initiatives to enhance ACP awareness, uptake and completion rates.
• Oversee budgeting, funding requirements and resource planning to ensure financial sustainability and viability of the office.
• Lead and supervise the Senior ACP Coordinator and Operations Executive to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and service delivery.
• Lead and ensure successful planning and execution of outreach and engagement activities, including public education events, roadshows, exhibitions, booth operations and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Administration

• Lead the annual divisional work planning and budgeting processes to align operational activities with strategic objectives.
• Writing of proposal papers to facilitate approval of various stages such as pre-sourcing, evaluation and award
• Management of timelines to ensure timely follow-up and closure of key action items

General

• Where directed by Reporting Officer, and/or Director, Clinical Ops (Integrated Care), to support in other WH and/or cluster-related related projects and tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, Power Point
• At least 6 to 8 years of related experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an operations or service background
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Healthcare or community experience is a bonus
