Job summary

Grace Maintenance Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations across client sites, coordinate schedules and staff, manage inventory and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will lead a team of cleaners, monitor performance, train new staff on methods, equipment handling, and safety, and maintain documentation while communicating with clients to uphold service quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign daily cleaning duties to cleaners.

Job Summary

The Manager supports operations by overseeing daily cleaning activities, scheduling, staff coordination, inventory management, and client communication to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign daily cleaning duties to cleaners to ensure efficient task completion
• Prepare and manage cleaning schedules to meet company cleanliness standards
• Inspect cleaning work regularly to maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards
• Train new cleaning staff on cleaning methods, equipment use, chemical handling, and safety procedures
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, uniform compliance, and work performance to uphold discipline
• Ensure cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies are maintained and readily available for operations
• Monitor stock levels and request cleaning materials proactively to avoid shortages
• Handle client, resident, or management complaints promptly and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate cleaning requirements with management and other departments to align operations
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals to comply with safety regulations
• Maintain accurate cleaning checklists, inspection reports, attendance records, and other documentation
• Report maintenance issues, damages, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to relevant parties
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on areas requiring improvement to enhance standards
• Ensure cleaners comply with workplace health, safety, and hygiene regulations consistently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant experience in housekeeping, room attendant operations, or cleaning services
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience in cleaning or hospitality environments
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and coordinate teams effectively
• Knowledge of room cleaning, housekeeping, and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel or hospitality environment
• Experience in Singapore’s hospitality or cleaning industry is an advantage
