Job summary

IAQ Engineering (SG) Pte Ltd is seeking an engineer to support construction project execution by managing M&E works, coordinating teams and clients, performing quality control, and ensuring timely completion of electrical, HVAC, fire protection and plumbing systems.

You will assist the Project Manager and Senior Engineer, review drawings, manage progress and submissions, and liaise with client representatives to address technical issues and certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, HVAC, Mechatronics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with exposure to MEP design and construction site operations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and related project software.
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and authority submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Senior Engineer in executing construction site activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Calculate material quantities and prepare accurate bills of materials for procurement and project planning.
• Assist the Commercial Department in procuring materials to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate, implement, and manage all M&E works to maintain project progress and compliance.
• Perform quality control inspections at construction sites to identify and resolve defects and discrepancies.
• Review construction drawings to detect inconsistencies and ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Manage and control progress, drawings, materials, samples, and method statement submissions for Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Sanitary works.
• Coordinate internally with Structural and Architectural teams to align project requirements and resolve issues.
• Liaise with client representatives to manage service diversions, technical issues, certification, documentation, and as-built drawings.
