Job summary

g star engineering pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to coordinate all MEP works for complex projects.

You will design electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate with main contractors, and oversee procurement, testing, and commissioning to ensure quality and compliance with authority requirements. The role requires at least 5 years in MEPL/M&E/ACMV for construction sector contractors, with strong independence, diligence, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of MEPL/M&E/ACMV experience in construction sector contractors.
• ACMV and Electrical experience preferred.
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.

• Conducted factory and in-house testing of equipment and switch boards.
• Prepared shop drawings for authority approval.

• Coordinated all M&E services in high-rise buildings (Electrical/Plumbing & Sanitary/ACMV/LIFT/Fire protection/Security/ Waste management).
• Prepared all M&E services for quality assessment based on Singapore BCA CONQUAS guidelines.
• Carried out assessments within budgeted cost and time.
• Measured workmanship and material specs using sampling.
• Carried out contract-specification based assessments.
• Witnessed factory performance tests of major M&E components prior to site installation.
• Inspected installation processes for conformity to approved method statements.
• Performed final M&E systems testing and commissioning.
• Handover of projects in good working condition.

• Conducted adequate inspection of the installation process to ensure the installations are based on approved method of statement.
• Carried out final M&E systems combined & individual testing and commissioning.
• Handed over projects with good working condition.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in MEPL / M&E / ACMV for Construction Sectors Contractor
• ACMV and Electrical experience is preferred
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
