Job summary

JI SHANGPIN PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead site activities from start to finish in Singapore.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities, manage schedules, allocate manpower, and monitor costs to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and compliance with building codes, with responsibility to lead site teams and report progress to management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all construction activities from project commencement to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities on project matters.
• Manage project schedules, manpower allocation, equipment, and materials to ensure timely completion of works.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve site issues to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, workplace safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and standards.
• Review and approve work plans, method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures, and implement cost-control measures where necessary.
• Prepare and submit project progress reports, site records, and management updates.
• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and other project personnel.
• Liaise with clients and consultants regarding project variations, technical issues, and contractual matters.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend project meetings and provide recommendations on construction methods and resource planning.
• Ensure proper handover of completed projects and rectification of defects during the defects liability period.
