Job summary

BEAMING ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to lead daily operations on site, supervise workers and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with project plans and schedules.

You will coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment, monitor progress, review drawings and specifications, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You’ll prepare progress and project reports, manage costs, and resolve site issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction operations and ensure work is completed according to project plans and schedules.
• Supervise workers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site staff to ensure proper performance.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment required for construction activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on time.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and work plans before and during construction.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations at the construction site.
• Monitor the quality of construction work and ensure it meets project specifications and standards.
• Control project costs and monitor expenses, materials, and manpower.
• Arrange procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment as required.
• Identify and resolve site problems, delays, and technical issues efficiently.
• Conduct site meetings and progress meetings with relevant parties.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress reports, and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, permits, and company policies.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers and monitor their work and performance.
• Coordinate inspections and testing of construction works and materials.
• Handle client complaints and project-related issues and take appropriate corrective action.
• Maintain proper records of manpower, materials, equipment, progress, and project expenses.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the construction site.
• Perform other duties assigned by the company management in relation to construction projects.
