Job summary

WATAMI FOOD SERVICE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable shop supervisor to oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, and guest service. You will ensure consistent service standards, manage cash handling, and contribute to marketing efforts with the HQ.

The role requires strong English communication, a minimum Diploma/A'Levels, and at least 2 years of experience or 1 year in F&B with culinary certification. Singaporeans only.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for daily operations and guest interaction.
• Experience in coaching and disciplining restaurant staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage weekly/monthly staff schedules according to shop needs.
• Forecast shop sales on a weekly basis.
• Audit shop performance and prepare reports for management.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure service recovery.
• Manage cash, daily sales, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with HQ on marketing strategies and promotions.

Job Description & Requirements

• Provide service to all customers according to Watami’s service standard and procedures.
• Responsible for the preparation work of Hall opening and closing operation hours
• Maintain quality, service & cleanliness at all times according to Watami’s standards.
• Able to handle all stations at an independent level.

Responsibility

• Plan and revise weekly and monthly schedule for all staff in the shop according to shop needs and sales forecast.
• Forecast shop sales on weekly basis.
• Audit own shop on a periodic basis (eg. Restaurant review) and create corresponding reports to be shared with Assistant Shop Manager and Hall/Kitchen Supervisor.
• Attending of both written and in-house customer complaints.
• Manage assets of the shop (ensure timely ordering of items and checking of inventory to prevent “out of stock” items).
• Planning, managing profit and loss. Handling cash at the store as well as collating daily sales as well as other necessary reports.
• Alongside with HQ, formulate marketing strategies to help boost shop’s sales performance.
• Develop equipment maintenance schedules and arrange for repairs.
• Coaching, developing and disciplining staff.
• Monitor staffs’ attendance records daily.
• Checking of staffs’ payroll concerns.
• Conduct inquiries if internal disputes in shop occur; and complete disciplinary write-ups.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Singaporeans only
• 5 day work week
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Able to work in fast-paced environment
• Minimum qualification : Diploma/A'levels
• At least 2 years of working experience (any field) or 1 year of relevant F&B experience or Fresh graduate with Culinary Certification
