Job summary

R E & S ENTERPRISES PTE LTD is seeking a bakery prep crew member to support daily operations in our bakery department. You will learn the operation process, assist with weighing, and follow the daily mixing schedule to ensure consistency.

Responsibilities include dividing dough, shaping, baking, verifying fillings expiration dates, sanitation, and helping with ad-hoc duties as required by the manager.

Qualifications

• Learn the operation process of the bakery department.
• Advance preparation with accurate weighing and following the daily mixing schedule.
• Dividing dough and understanding dough characteristics to troubleshoot.
• Shaping dough with proper portion filling and correct form per procedure.
• Baking by following the defined baking procedure and process.
• Filling handling with correct weighing and awareness of expiration dates.
• Sanitation: follow correct cleaning procedures.
• Ad-hoc duties as required by the manager such as housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform bakery operations per standard procedure.
• Assist with weighing and preparation to meet daily production goals.
• Divide, shape and portion dough accurately according to specification.
• Monitor filling quantities, roll and shape dough without damage.
• Bake products following established times and temperatures.
• Ensure proper filling storage and monitor expiration dates.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the work area.
• Support other duties as needed by the manager.

Preparation

• Learn the operation process of the bakery department
• Advance preparation, weighing is done accurately, check extensibility and following the daily mixing schedule
• Dividing - Understanding the characteristics of each dough and able to perform troubleshooting
• Shaping - Understanding the amount of portion filling, roll up without damaging the dough, shape properly and according to the procedure
• Baking - Understanding and following the baking procedure and process
• Filing - Can weight correctly and understand the expiration date of each filling
• Sanitation – Understand and follow the correct cleaning procedures
• Other duties – Any ad-hoc duties as required by the manager such as housekeeping
