Job summary

Lumina Advisory & Global Search seeks an experienced MIS Manager to oversee regional IT operations, security, and systems integration across multiple offices. The role requires managing Windows and macOS environments, standardizing hardware, and aligning IT with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IM/IT or related discipline.
• Eight+ years IT/MIS experience, including 3+ years in management.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, server administration, firewalls, cloud infra, identity management, DLP, IT auditing, and endpoint security.
• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Apple Certified Support Professional, CISSP, CCNP, PMP.
• Mandarin language proficiency is required for stakeholder interactions and Mandarin documentation.
• Strategic, hands-on leader with solid project-management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on MIS Manager to oversee their regional IT operations, infrastructure, information security, and systems integration. This role will ensure that technology environments across all branch offices remain secure, reliable, standardized, and aligned with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Computer Systems Management: Oversee computer systems across all global branch offices, supporting both Windows and macOS environments. Standardize hardware procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and replacement processes to ensure operational stability and cost efficiency.
• Network Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor global network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and cloud services. Maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across multiple offices and regions.
• IT Resource Integration & Optimization: Plan and deliver the integration of servers, file systems, email platforms, and cloud solutions. Implement hybrid technologies—including Active Directory, MDM, and cross-platform file sharing—to provide a seamless experience for Windows and Apple users.
• Cloud Platform Integration: Administer and integrate Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, and Google Workspace within a hybrid cloud environment. Ensure secure and efficient management of user accounts, email, collaboration tools, permissions, and corporate files.
• Global IT Integration: Lead IT infrastructure and system-integration projects for multinational subsidiaries. Establish scalable IT governance policies aligned with corporate standards, operational requirements, and applicable local regulations.
• Information Security & Endpoint Protection: Develop and enforce endpoint security policies covering identity and access management, patching, antivirus, device compliance, and endpoint detection and response. Implement Data Loss Prevention controls to monitor and reduce the risk of information leakage.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Define IT security standards, controls, and audit procedures in alignment with frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001 and GDPR. Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, remediation activities, and employee security-awareness training.
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to branch offices and overseas sites required.

Qualification

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least eight years of IT or MIS experience, including three or more years in a management role. Demonstrated success in multinational IT integration, infrastructure projects, and mixed Windows/macOS environments using technologies such as Active Directory and MDM.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, server administration, firewalls, cloud infrastructure, identity management, DLP, IT auditing, and endpoint security.
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Apple Certified Support Professional, CISSP, CCNP, PMP, or equivalent certification.
• Language Skills: Professional proficiency in Mandarin is required, as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and reviewing business and technical documentation written in Mandarin.
• Personal Attributes: Strategic and hands-on leader with strong project-management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Able to prioritize effectively, manage multiple stakeholders, and perform confidently in a fast-paced environment.
