Job summary

My Masterclass is launching its Management Associate Program—a fast-track path in a premium brand that invests in your growth and success. You will split your week between high-impact teaching and strategic business operations, preparing you to independently run and own your My Masterclass branch within 3 to 5 years.

This hybrid role covers three areas: teaching excellence, business operations, and leadership with a clear center-ownership track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Math, or Business with strong academic record.
• 1–2 years tutoring experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial grit and willingness to learn business operations.
• Excellent communication and ability to build trust with parents.
• Willingness to work a 5-day week including weekend days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Math/Science lessons to motivated students.
• Provide detailed feedback to parents and maintain parent–tutor relationships.
• Contribute to curriculum and materials planning.
• Support marketing campaigns, outreach, and student enrollment.
• Mentor junior tutors and help develop center operations and standards.

The Program

This is a unique hybrid role designed to give you a 360-degree understanding of how a premium educational brand operates. You will split your week between high-impact teaching and strategic business operations, preparing you to independently run and own your own My Masterclass branch within 3 to 5 years.

1. Business Operations & Student Success (2 Days)

Customer Experience & Front-of-House: Manage student placements, handle parent inquiries, and navigate complex client complaints with professionalism and empathy.

Systems & Risk Management: Utilize and optimize internal center management systems; implement protocols to mitigate operational and safety risks.

Operational Excellence: Standardize and design efficient center processes to ensure smooth daily operations.

2. Academic Excellence & Pedagogy (3 Days)

Elite Teaching: Deliver high-quality lessons in Math/Science to motivated G3, IP, and JC students.

Student Portfolios: Write detailed, constructive feedback for parents to maintain our close-knit parent-tutor relationship.

Curriculum & Materials: Familiarize yourself with and contribute to My Masterclass’s proprietary curriculum and scheme of work planning.

3. Leadership & Brand Growth (As You Progress)

Marketing & Outreach: Participate in marketing campaigns, content creation, and community outreach to drive student enrollment.

Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and guide junior tutors to maintain our standards of teaching excellence.

Branch Ownership Track: Learn the financials, scaling strategies, and P&L management required to eventually run your own center.

The Growth Path to Center Ownership

Phase 1: The Specialist (Years 1–2): Build your foundations. Master our teaching materials, learn customer service excellence, and get comfortable with our operating systems.

Phase 2: The Leader (Years 3–4): Take charge. Lead curriculum planning, spearhead marketing initiatives, handle advanced operations (complaints/risk), and begin mentoring junior staff.

Phase 3: The Partner (Years 5+): Complete your transition. Take on leadership opportunities, including full-scale management and potential equity/ownership of your own My Masterclass branch.

Who We Are Looking For

• Degree Holders / Fresh Graduates in Science, Math, or Business fields with a strong academic track record.
• 1–2 years of tutoring experience (private or center-based) with excellent subject mastery.
• Entrepreneurial grit: You don’t just want a 9-to-5; you want to learn how a business runs from the ground up.
• Exceptional communicators: Calm under pressure, able to handle tough feedback, and excellent at building trust with parents.
• Commitment: 5-day work week, including both weekend, allowing you to enjoy quiet, crowd-free weekdays off.
