Job summary

My Masterclass invites a Junior Chemistry Tutor to join our Singapore team. You will work with IP/O Level chemistry materials, developing students' mastery and confidence through structured lessons and feedback.

The role suits fresh graduates or 1–2 years’ tutoring experience, with weekend and weekday hours. You will grow into curriculum planning, mentorship, and centre leadership within a premium teaching brand.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Chemistry (IP/O Level) in tuition center or private settings.
• 1-2 years tutoring experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Ability to explain complex chemistry concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build foundations during first 1–2 years with curriculum training, classroom management and progress tracking.
• In years 3–6, run classes independently and adapt to student needs; contribute to curriculum development.

The Opportunity

We are inviting a Junior Chemistry Tutor to join our dynamic team. This is a role for an educator who has:

• 1-2 years of tutoring experience in a private setting preferred, fresh graduates welcome

• Gain familiarity with My Masterclass's G3 and IP chemistry materials

• A passion for inspiring students and helping them build mastery and confidence

Responsibilities

In Your First 1–2 Years, Build Foundations

• You will be trained in curriculum and teaching materials, classroom management, teaching methods, and active feedback techniques. You will take ownership and be accountable for the progress, performance of all students under your care.

• By the second year, you will get familiar with the depth and topics covered across different schools and syllabuses, where you will run your class independently and adapt to different students needs.

As You Grow With Us (Years 3–6):

• You will be in charge of the planning of schemes of work of your classes, in line with the rigor of My Masterclass's curriculum

• Mentor and train junior tutors, improve on My Masterclass's curriculum

• Participate in marketing, community outreach, and content initiatives

• Take on leadership opportunities — including managing your own branch under My Masterclass

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience teaching Chemistry (IP/O Level) in tuition center or private settings

• Sat - Sun930am: 630pm, Mon - Fri: 12-9pm, 5 working days

• Excellent subject mastery and ability to explain complex concepts clearly

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine care for student success

• Teaching at H2 level or another science subject is a plus

• Aligned with My Masterclass’ teaching philosophy and standards of excellence
