You will support and troubleshoot production machines to ensure uptime, provide engineering support for automation equipment, and handle maintenance, installation, and upgrades while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Qualifikationen

• NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; fresh graduates may apply, OR
• 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or related roles, is preferred
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Able to work independently with initiative and accountability in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable and detail-oriented

Aufgaben

• Support the operations, maintenance, installation, or upgrading of automation equipment
• Provide first level, front-end support to maintain AMHS operations and troubleshooting, including RGV (Raid Guided Vehicles), OHT (Overhead Hoist Transfer) and AIV (Automated Intelligent Vehicles)
• Perform daily / routine checks to monitor equipment operating parameters and MPI / MMM check sheets, promptly updating onto the monitoring system to ensure operations are within control specifications
• Troubleshoot and perform quick equipment breakdown recovery, carry out corrective / preventive maintenance, and assist in upgrades, modifications or improvement work
• Ensure workstations are in excellent 5S housekeeping and safety
• Monitor the automation equipment utilization performance through OEE
• Help to manage and control critical spare parts and inventory record / management regularly
• Assist with other ad hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor

Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support and troubleshoot production machines to ensure consistent uptime. The position involves providing engineering support for automation equipment and handling tasks such as maintenance, installation, and upgrades. You will also ensure workstations maintain excellent safety and housekeeping standards while managing spare parts inventory for smooth operations, so you should be organised and have a keen eye for detail.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support the operations, maintenance, installation, or upgrading of automation equipment

Additional Information

Willing to work in a 12-hour rotating day / night shift (4 working days / 3 rest days / 3 working days / 4 rest days)

Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
