Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Singapore seeks an Intern/Co-op for corrective and preventive maintenance within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. You will support troubleshooting, planning and optimization of maintenance activities, and contribute to reliability initiatives for critical equipment.

Responsibilities include supporting CAPA, change controls, and lifecycle management of systems, under supervision of senior engineers and QA/compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 3–5 years in maintenance/reliability in regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with GMP manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns and process interruptions.
• Support planning: maintenance activities to minimize disruption.
• Act as SME for designated systems and support audits and change controls.
