Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks an Intern/Co-op in Singapore to support Reliability Center of Excellence within the site Engineering and Maintenance organization.

You will gain exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, cGMP, regulation, and asset performance improvement initiatives across MEI disciplines. You will help drive reliability programs, track KPIs, and assist in spare parts management and SHE/compliance activities while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in the specified fields or equivalent.
• Understanding of cGMP principles and compliance concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Execute reliability programs to improve equipment availability and lifecycle cost.
• Analyze failure modes to drive root-cause actions.
• Track reliability KPIs and communicate trends and improvement actions.
• Maintain asset master data in CMMS for planning and analysis.
• Support MEI engineering with troubleshooting to boost efficiency.
