Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an on-site Maintenance Engineer to supervise daily repair workflows and support production uptime. You will respond to on-call service breakdowns, analyze issues, and ensure GMP and EHS compliance while driving improvements for asset reliability.

Responsibilities include reviewing SAP maintenance records, addressing deviation investigations, and ensuring changes are closed in a timely manner. A mechanical engineering degree and GMP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree required.
• GMP experience preferred.
• Able to be on-call for machine breakdowns.
• Able to manage deviation cases and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily routine and repair work orders to enable smooth handover and minimize disruption to production schedule.
• Respond on-call for service breakdowns and ensure maintenance is performed according to GMP, EHS and engineering standards.
• Analyze data to develop solutions based on engineering knowledge and field experience to resolve problems quickly.
• Perform equipment breakdown/troubleshooting with maintenance Associate Engineer and recover to uptime.
• Ensure audit readiness by complying with regulatory and cGMP documentation requirements.
• Review executed maintenance work orders in SAP to ensure GMP documentation is complete.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance asset reliability and maintenance excellence.
