About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance & Facility Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and improvement of production machinery, site facilities, instruments and equipment in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be involved in both preventive and corrective maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, equipment improvement and continuous improvement activities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production machines, site facilities, instruments and equipment.
- Respond to machine breakdowns, malfunctions and urgent maintenance issues to minimise production downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programmes and practices.
- Support corrective maintenance, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment, including CNC lathe, milling and gear machines, as well as cleaning lines, furnaces and plating equipment.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Support machine and equipment installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with OEMs, machine agents, contractors and suppliers for repairs, calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS system.
- Provide technical recommendations on maintenance requirements and equipment improvements.
About you
- Degree with at least 2 years' relevant experience OR Diploma with at least 5 years' relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance engineering experience.
- Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and equipment improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing machine maintenance is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with CNC machinery, preferably CNC lathe, milling and gear machines.
- Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance, TPM and root‑cause analysis.
- Experience in reducing machine downtime and improving equipment reliability.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to work independently as well as with internal teams, OEMs, contractors and suppliers.
