Job summary

The Vine Search is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and lead a team of technicians to keep plant machinery running efficiently.

Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree and have hands-on experience with automation, IPC/PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and be prepared for 5.5 working days and overtime where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on automation experience including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Steel manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week with overtime when needed.
• Valid driving license preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in automation systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry will bean added advantage.
• Knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work in dependently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week and perform overtime when operational requirements demand.
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
