Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd. is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer for a 2 months contract, renewable or convertible, based at Bedok. Working hours are Mon–Fri 7.30am to 4.48pm, with a basic up to $6000 SGD monthly.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery, including CNCs, cleaning lines, furnaces and plating equipment. CMMS record-keeping and coordination with suppliers are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing machine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise equipment downtime and downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Support maintenance of equipment such as CNC machines (Lathe, Milling & Gear), Cleaning Lines, Furnaces and Plating Equipment.
• Perform equipment improvement and modification to improve machine reliability, efficiency and performance.
• Support TPM, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with machine suppliers, contractors and OEMs for servicing, repair, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS and support installation/commissioning of new equipment.

• At least 5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred

• Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing machine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

• Experience with CNC machinery, Cleaning Lines, Furnaces and/or Plating Equipment will be highly advantageous.

• Experience in preventive/corrective maintenance, TPM, root-cause analysis and downtime reduction.

• Exposure to CMMS and industrial automation is preferred.

• Candidates with experience in equipment improvement, modification or reliability enhancement will have an advantage.
