Job summary

The Vine Search is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing facility located in Boon Lay, with transport provided from Jurong Point. You will lead maintenance operations and keep plant equipment at peak performance, ensuring reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering and have 2–3 years of experience in heavy manufacturing, with hands-on automation expertise and familiarity with IPCs, PLCs, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
2–3 years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with automation systems — troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus.
Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to perform well under pressure and respond promptly to maintenance issues.
Willing to work 5.5 days/week with overtime as needed.
Valid driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and carry out corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment performing optimally.
Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available when needed.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors for technical support, spare parts, and maintenance services.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to boost reliability and productivity.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures.
