THE VINE SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance operations and keep plant equipment running at peak performance in Boon Lay. Transport is available from Jurong Point.
The role involves supervising technicians, planning maintenance, managing spare parts, liaising with vendors, and driving reliability improvements while ensuring safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in heavy manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with automation systems — troubleshooting, maintenance, repair.
- Willing to work 5.5 days/week with overtime as needed.
- Valid driving license preferred.

- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available when needed
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for technical support, spare parts, and maintenance services
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to boost reliability and productivity
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field

- Hands-on experience with automation systems - troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment
- Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to perform well under pressure and respond promptly to maintenance issues
- Willing to work 5.5 days/week with overtime as needed
- Valid driving license preferred
