Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer (Plant Maintenance) for a permanent role in Tuas, Singapore.

The successful candidate will plan, coordinate and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for plant machinery to maximise reliability. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, familiar with rotating equipment and CMMS, and will join a team focused on safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing, process plant, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise equipment downtime.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, engineering documentation, and operational records.
• Coordinate equipment modifications, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance.
• Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, contractors, and external vendors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, workplace safety, and environmental compliance.
• Train and guide technicians on maintenance procedures and best practices.

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Mechanical Engineer (Plant Maintenance)
• Location: Tuas (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: 5.25 days (2 half day Sat in a month)
• Salary Package: Up to $4,200 + Transport Allowance + Bonus

• Familiar with rotating equipment such as pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and related machinery.
• Experience using engineering software such as CAD, CMMS, or similar maintenance management systems is an advantage.
