Job summary

TSTAR RECRUIT PTE. LTD. partners with an established manufacturing client in Singapore to recruit an Assistant Machine Engineer / Technician. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support machine setup to ensure timely mass production.

Requirements include a NITEC in a relevant field, 1+ year maintenance experience, and strong Excel skills. Training is provided; rotating shifts are required, including mornings and nights.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Training provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player with ability to work independently.
• Willing to rotate shifts (morning and night).

Responsibilities

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an Assistant Machine Engineer / Technician:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Carry out periodical maintenance for process machinery according to schedule.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and assist with breakdown restoration to restore machine functionality and minimize production downtime.
• Support machinery setup activities to ensure readiness and timely commencement of mass production.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with planned schedules and procedures.
• Initiate, plan, and implement quality improvement and preventive measures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Propose, plan and implement quality preventive and improvement activities.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and performance targets.
• Explore and develop knowledge of machinery maintenance and create new ideas to improve machine reliability and maintain a safe and conducive working environment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification withNITEC in the relevant course/field, relevant fields include Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience is preferred.
• Training is provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Information:
