Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Jurong West site.

You will perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime and lead a team of technicians in preventive maintenance and repair of plant machinery. You will develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations, while managing spare parts and coordinating with suppliers for parts and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering.
• 2–3 years in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on automation system maintenance and repair.
• Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong IPC, PLC, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
• Valid driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lead technicians in preventive maintenance and repair.

Job description

Position title:Maintenance Engineer

Location:Jurong West

Working Days: 5. 5 days A Week (44 hrs/week)
Working hours : 8am – 5pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am – 12pm (Sat)
Salary :$3,200 - $4,500 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
• Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory effectively to ensure the availability of critical components and prevent operational delays.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for technical support, spare parts procurement, and maintenance services.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in automation systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
