Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, reading engineering drawings and translating them into precise parts. You will handle setup, tooling, and process adjustments to meet exact specifications.

You will perform quality inspections, document measurements, and troubleshoot program or tooling issues. Collaboration with engineering and production teams is essential to integrate CNC processes into the wider workflow, while strictly following EHS

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines and reading engineering drawings.
• Ability to perform inspections and measurements to ensure specs.
• Experience with VTL or large CNC equipment highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to EHS rules and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts per drawings.

Job description

• Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC machines to machine parts to specifications from engineering drawings.
• Quality Control: Perform inspections and measurements of machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Experience operating Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) and/or other large CNC machining equipment is highly desirable
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to CNC operations, tooling, and programs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of CNC machining processes into overall production workflow.
• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and employee’s EHS responsibilities.
• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
