Job summary

TKL MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can program, set up and operate milling, lathe and wire-cut machines, with strong reading of technical drawings and precision engineering.

You will set up and run machines, meet production schedules, perform preventive maintenance, inspect work pieces, and look for ways to improve machining efficiency and reduce costs while mentoring junior staff on programming and setup.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines and reading technical drawings.
• Knowledge of precision engineering concepts.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and GD&T.
• Willing to train junior workers in programming and setup.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Milling/Lathe/Wire Cut machines.
• Meet production schedules and outputs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect finished workpieces for quality and tolerances.
• Improve machining efficiency to increase productivity.
• Assist in training junior workers on programming and setup.

• Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine


• Able to operate CNC machines


• Knowledgeable in precision engineering


• Able to read and interprets technical drawings
