Job summary

RAFFLES EMPLOYMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring a chef to prepare and cook dishes according to the menu, while maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen. You will fill in in various kitchen stations as needed and ensure all equipment is operated safely.

We require a Food Hygiene certificate and 2–5 years of chef experience. The role demands good communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven 2–5 years of experience as chef.
• Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Able to communicate effectively and be a team player.
• Cheerful and self-motivated with positive attitude.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work on public holidays and weekends.
• Able to work night and split shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook assigned dishes per menu.
• Keep kitchen area and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Process food according to company and government controls.
• Fill in any kitchen area when needed.
• Ensure utensils and equipment are clean and sanitary.
• Remove trash and handle storage bins.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment and report faults.
• Comply with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
